Frome Carnival is once again holding the Spot in the Window competition from 31st July to 30th August, sponsored by Frome Times. Look out for the red spot poster in the shop windows of participating shops!
The community are invited to take part and find the ‘odd’ item in participating shop windows.
Organisers say, “Can you find the item that does not belong? Is there something in the window that just seems out of place? Join in the fun by getting your entry form from the town hall, Ellenbray, Winstone’s Hunting Raven Bookshop and the Rose Garden.”
Entry forms can also be collected from Frome Street Carnival’s stall at this weekend’s Frome Independent Market on Sunday 4th August. Entry is just £1 and there will be a £30 prize for the winner. All proceeds to go to local Frome Carnival Charities.
In September, Frome Street Carnival team will also be holding the annual Best Dressed Window competition. Look out for the fabulous carnival windows in town this year.
