Saturday 24th August, 2.30pm – 5.00pm- Children’s Summer Party At The Assembly Rooms.
We’re having a Children’s Summer Party at The Assembly Rooms. Dance to your favourite Summer Hits, provided by PDJ Disco and play lots of party games. A light buffet is available, bar will be open any every child gets an ice cream! Entry is just £6 per child (adults are free). Ticket includes disco, ice cream and a present to take home. All children must be accompanied by an adult
Saturday 31st August 4pm- We Love Little Mix – The Ultimate Little Mix Experience. We Love Little Mix are four hugely talented girls paying tribute to one of the UK’s finest Girl-Bands. With breathtaking dance moves, replica costumes and some of the finest vocals in the UK, this is a high-energy show packed with all of Little Mix’s greatest hits – DNA, Wings, Salute, Black Magic, Love Me Like You, Secret Love Song and many, many more. Saturday 7th September 7.30pm- The Rock of Ages Experience. The Rock of Ages Experience are looking forward to appearing at The Memorial Theatre with their uplifting and high energy musical tribute to the smash hit Hollywood film and musical, ‘Rock of Ages’. The idea for this show came about because they had seen the film and loved it, then saw the stage show which they also enjoyed, but of course in the stage show they only play a small section of the songs, and they wanted to hear more of the music.
From this they decided to add in even more iconic hits from the era, so not only do you get songs from the show, but great hits like ‘Living on a Prayer’ ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ ‘Dead Ringer for Love’ ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ ‘Eye of the Tiger’ ‘Don’t Stop me Now’ ‘I Want it All’ and many more.
The rock classics of the eighties go from strength to strength, as they perform some of the greatest rock songs of the decade. Friday 11th October 7.30pm- The Best of WHAM! A ‘fantastic’ new show featuring the best of George, Andrew, Pepsi and Shirlie with sensational vocals, choreography, costumes and an awesome live band.
Can it really be 37 years since George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley formed one of the most enduring pop groups of the 80s?
In four short years WHAM! sold more than 28 million records, topping the charts with three albums, four number one singles and eleven top ten hits. They featured in the Live Aid concert of 1985 and were the first western pop group to ever tour in China.
Their impact and influence on the 80s era and music today really cannot be overemphasized. The Best of WHAM!
