Frome Musical Theatre Company will be performing the hugely popular Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, at the Frome Memorial Theatre from Tuesday 7th – Sunday 12th May.
Based on the beloved 1968 film, Ian Fleming’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find “Truly Scrumptious.”
On Saturday 23rd March, crowds gathered outside the Frome Memorial Theatre as the company welcomed Chitty, a fantastic replica car from the film, kindly organised and sponsored by cast member, Wayne Kelly, of Clarkson’s Independent Funeral Directors Ltd.
The cast from the show were ready to greet members of the public in their beautiful costumes created by Ellen Day and take photos with the car.
The theatre box office took a record number of bookings during the morning, with well over 50% of tickets already sold for the production.
