Try not to miss this exciting Christmas Concert at Wesley Methodist Church in Frome on Saturday 13th December at 7.30pm.
This year’s programme contains an interesting and diverse mix of old and new pieces, including carols, songs and anthems by Parry, Elgar, Mendelssohn, Rutter, Peter Warlock, Felix Bernard and also Mel Torme.
David Bednall, who has given recitals in many cathedrals including St Paul’s and Westminster Abbey and also at Notre Dame in Paris, will be accompanying society members on the beautiful Wesley church organ.
David has featured in a number of TV and Radio broadcasts, including an appearance as a stunt organist in ‘Dr Who’! In addition members will be joined once more by the Orchard of England Brass ensemble.
The conductor will be Anthony Williamson, the choral society’s director.
Tickets (price £10) are now available from Frome Tourist Information Centre or from choir members. It is also possible to pay at the door. Don’t miss it!
