A local woman, Jane Talbot, is organising a clap in support of the ‘amazing’ care workers at Gracewell in memory of her mum.
“My Mum, June, sadly passed away recently at Gracewell,” explained Jane. “She had wonderful care and I thought it might be a nice idea to organise a ‘clap’ in appreciation for the hard work, skill and kindness that all the fantastic staff show as they look after the residents.
“The plan would be to clap at 8.00 on Thursday 7th May at Gracewell. If people could arrive at 7.50 so we can make sure everyone can stand at 2m intervals outside the front door. Bring things that make a noise, balloons, pictures of rainbows – and we’ll see if we can sing ‘For they are Jolly Good Fellows’ or something similar.
“I do hope we can come together to show how much we appreciate the amazing Gracewell carers.”
