Sunday 22nd Dec 10am – Two rinks at Clarrie and at Donyatt.
In the third match of the season in the Somerset County League, Clarrie took on Donyatt.
In a match dominated on all four rinks by Clarrie, with the home rinks skipped by Colin Easton and Alan Totterdell winning by 12 and 11 shots, respectively. The highest winning rink was away at Donyatt where Keith Bailey’s four won by 19, closely followed by Fred Pope’s rink with a 12 shot advantage.
The win maintains Clarrie’s position at the top of the table.
PLANETBOWLS COMES TO CLARRIE
Clarrie will be hosting an Open Singles Tournament on 1st and 2nd March 2014. The event is part of the PlanetBowls Open Tournament Circuit. PlanetBowls is a new series of tournaments that is sweeping the country with 27 of the most progressive clubs hosting Open Tournaments. With prize money over £2000 Clarrie is hoping to attract some of the best bowlers in the country.

In the fourth match of the Wessex League, reigning Champions Clarrie face Thornbury in the regional round robin stage. Clarrie currently top the central region table.
