A COFFEE morning in memory of Julian Wort, who died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart condition at the age of 28, has been organised at Rode Chapel on Saturday 8th September.
Eileen Byrne has organised a coffee morning at Rode Chapel on the High Street in Rode on Saturday 8th September from 10.30am, to raise money for the Julian Wort Memorial Fund.
The money raised will go towards funding another screening event, which looks to screen young people for undiagnosed heart conditions. The cost of screening 100 young people costs £5,000 and the memorial fund is looking to raise a further £1,813 in order to set up another event.
