The Frome Town Rangers are getting ready for the community tree/ hedge plant this Sunday, 24th November, at the Showfield play park, between 10am and 4.30pm.
Mayor, cllr Sheila Gore said, “Come and get your hands dirty, we have 420 saplings to plant and we need your help! This is a great opportunity to make a difference in your community. The new plants will encourage biodiversity and create a natural habitat and food source for our wildlife.”
There will be some gardening gloves and spades available, but please bring your own if you have some. Please dress for the weather and the task – warm layers; outdoor footwear; and perhaps a waterproof or windproof jacket.
Contact Chris Stringer if you know you can make it stringerc@frometown council.gov.uk to let them know you’re joining in, or just turn up on the day.
