COUNTY and district councillor for Frome, Linda Oliver, is holding drop-in surgeries to meet with local people over the coming months.
The first of the surgeries will be at Frome Medical Centre on Thursday 6th October from 10am to 12pm.
Cllr Oliver represents Frome North on Somerset County Council, and Rode and Norton St Philip on Mendip District Council.
She says, “I pick up the majority of local issues from the parish council meetings and from residents who contact me directly.
“I attend every meeting possible in my county and district areas, but there are very few residents who attend them. These surgeries provide another opportunity for residents to drop in and have a chance to speak to me in person and raise any concerns or questions they may have.”
There will be further surgeries on Tuesday 6th December and Tuesday 17th January, both from 10am to 12pm at the Frome Medical Centre.
