As the nights draw in, Random Mouse Promotions offer a magical evening of folk music from The Lords of Thyme on Thursday 27th November.
Described as the authors of “a dream-like sound that is traditionally English”, The Lords of Thyme came together through a shared love of esoteric folk, psych and progressive music.
With a debut EP and single produced by John Wood — best known for his work with Nick Drake, Cat Stevens and Fairport Convention — this new group are already making waves on the contemporary folk scene, with glowing reviews in fRoots magazine and Folk Radio UK.
“With such a promising debut single the Lords of Thyme are a band really worth following.” – Alex Gallacher, Folk Radio UK
