SPORTS car and supercar hire company Drive Southwest continue to surprise unsuspecting people with a ride they will never forget.
Each month, the Frome-based company randomly select one lucky person for the Supercar Surprise from nominations received through the website.
Managing director Mark Hanner said, “The sole aim of Supercar Surprise is to share the wonderful cars we have to hire with those in need of a treat, and last month Dawn Martin was chosen as part of her 60th birthday celebrations.
“Dawn is a huge Ferrari fan but had never been in or experienced a Ferrari before, so we thought we would make that happen for her.
“After arriving at our Frome premises, without a clue why she was here, we rolled up the doors to reveal our gorgeous pale blue Ferrari California, complete with happy birthday banner.
“After spending some time with the car, Dawn was then taken out around Frome by team member Gerry, for a ride she will never forget!
“The skies were clear, so Dawn chose to have the roof lowered, and take in the glamour of being driven around Frome in a Ferrari, waving to passers by.
“Dawn’s husband Tef was delighted to see Dawn’s excitement and was also treated to a quick passenger ride.”
