Macmillan Cancer Support is hosting its annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ with fundraisers around the country serving up coffee (and tea) and cake, all in aid of the charity.
In 2018, Frome raised hundred of pounds for Macmillan and this year should be no exception, with coffee mornings being held across Frome and surrounding villages including:
• Cooper and Tanner, 6 The Bridge, Frome, Thursday 27th September, from 10am to 4pm. Organisers say, “Cooper and Tanner are delighted to holding a coffee morning to support this wonderful event. You are more than welcome to join us for a cup of tea, or coffee, and a delicious slice of cake. We will be holding a raffle with some wonderful prizes to be won, all very kindly donated by local shops and businesses. We would love to see you.”
• Nunney Village Hall, Friday 27th September, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Organisers say, “We would like to invite you to the Macmillan Coffee Morning at Nunney Village Hall to support our community and raise money for the worthwhile cause. You’re welcome to bring a cake or something yummy to share (homemade or bought)!”
• 4 Kissing Batch, Frome, BA11 3ND, Friday 27th September, from 11am to 2pm. Hosted by Susan Harrison.
• Oakridge, West End, Frome, BA11 3AD, Saturday 28th September, from 12pm to 2pm. Hosted by Tanya Garrett.
• The Village Hall, Witham Friary, Frome, BA11 5HF, Sunday 6th October, from 2pm to 4pm. Organisers say, “We’re also holding a raffle so please feel free to bring along donations for prizes . You’re welcome to bring a cake or something yummy to share (homemade or bought)!”
