Frome Town FC held their awards evening on Saturday 22nd April to celebrate and thank all those involved with the club this season.
The club ended the season in eighth place and finished only six points behind the promotion play-off spots. The event on Saturday evening saw the team and supporters come together to review the 2022/23 season and thank all those involved in the club.
The Supporters’ Player of the Season was Sam Teale, the Manager’s Player of the Season was James Ollis; the Directors’ Player of the Season was Kyle Philips, the Players’ Player of the Season was awarded to Kyle Phillips; and Young Player of the Season went to Owen Humphries.
The club thanked to the backroom staff and all those involved with the club off the pitch. The club said, “A huge thank you to all those that have helped support the club this season including Martin, Sid, Ryan, John, Les, Kim, Neil, Leah, Paul, Nick and the Graham family, plus many many more.
“Special mention also to Louise for kit washing and hospitality support; Ben Hollis for his work so far on commercials; Glen Hart, Roxy and Andy Meaden for their support on matchday programmes; Steve Jupp for his articles; Steve McCarthy for the amazing photography and Zeb for his engaging match reporting and reports.
“Plus, Georgie and Sam in the clubhouse, as well as Darren and his Scout and Hunter team for catering, and Frome Town United for their support and mascots all season. Thank you to Ben Starr, Tom and Luke for all their efforts with our VEO system, analysis and highlights; our management teams, with Ben and Tom with our Women’s team; our men’s team with Danny, Neil, Alan, Simon, Sara and Bash. All our players in both our Women’s and Men’s teams. Our directors Derek, Jon, Gary, David, Lester and Scott. Finally, our supporters and supporters club that without you all the club would not be what it is.”
