The Treorchy Male Choir will perform at the theatre on Saturday 19th July at 7.30pm.
Celebrating its 130th anniversary, the world-famous Treorchy Male Choir has toured USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand while appearing on more than 90 commercial albums.
It has shared the stage with Dame Shirley Bassey, Ella Fitzgerald, Tom Jones, Julie Andrews and Burt Bacharach and performed for royalty, including Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Albert of Monaco.
With a vast repertoire of music from traditional Welsh to operatic choruses, showstopping musicals and contemporary ballads, Treorchy is regarded as a master in the choral singing arena.
‘Rule The World’ will be at the Memorial on Saturday 16th August, 7.30pm.
A fundraising concert for Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance UK – ‘Rule The World’ have been recognised as the Number 1 Take That tribute act in the world. They’ve been featured on ITV’s ‘Daybreak’ and have had rave reviews from many people including Jason Orange’s mother, and are the only Take That tribute show in the land to have ever been praised by Take That’s lead singer Gary Barlow.
Now in their 6th year of touring, the band ensures an accurate portrayal and is a true impersonation of the sounds, look and feel of the sensational Take That live in concert.
