FROME Town FC has announced the signing of Bath City’s Ryan Harley. The 36- year-old midfielder joined the Robins ahead of Satur- day’s (11th December) match against Willand Rovers.
The club reports, “Exeter fan favourite Ryan played over 230+ games from the Grecians, taking the club from the conference up to League One, before making a move in the Championship to Swansea and Brighton. Ryan joined Bath City for the 20/21 season, but has moved to the Robins to secure some additional game time.”
Frome Town’s manager Danny Greaves said, “I’ve known Ryan since a young age and followed his excellent career with pride at what he has achieved. I was aware that he had recently left Bath, and we also have a couple of injuries, so this suits both parties at this moment in time. “He is also thinking about his next steps in his career and is increasing his coaching hours and he will assist with that side of things here with us in a player/coach capacity. “His experience both on and off the pitch will be invaluable given the position we find ourselves in coming up to the halfway stage. Welcome to Frome, Ryan!”
