Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers (formerly the Frome Textile Workshop) will be showing off their skills at an exhibition and sale on Sunday 1st July (10am to 3.30pm).
The sale, which is on the same day as the Independent Artisan Market, is at the Old Sunday School off Catherine Hill. Items on sale will include bags, rugs, scarves, tableware, cushions, ties, tapestry and decorative wall hangings.
Members of the weavers group will be able to support you to ‘have a go’ at weaving and demonstrate simple techniques. Children are most welcome to enjoy this ‘hands on’ experience. You can also nip through to Rye Bakery from there for refreshments!
