A family in Frome is collecting vital food donations for Fair Frome at a Christmas lights display on their house on Critchill Road.
People can stop by to view the lights and, if they wish, donate food items, which the family will drop off at the food bank at Fair Frome on the Marston Trading Estate.
Xanthe Anderson said, “My nan, Anita Crompton, and all of the grandchildren spent a Saturday putting up all of the decorations. For the first time since it all began, we had to stop because of rain, but it was all finished in the end.”
This year, the display at 96 Critchill Road includes new lights and a family of light-up penguins.
The family ran the fundraiser last year and made three trips to the food bank to drop off all the donations.
