THE Silk Mill will be hosting a family dance on Wednesday 13th December that promises fun for all the family.
The event promises classic electro, dance, hip hop and big beats and dance floor classics for all the family to enjoy. There will also be stories told around a fire, family drumming circles, a fire show and face painting. Amazing food will be available from Peru to You from 5pm until 8pm.
There is an early start (doors open at 3.30pm), which means babies and children can get down on the dance floor and show their friends and family how to party!
Organiser Daniel Dobbie from Angelfish Live said, “Frome has an amazing community of people that love to dress up, dance and enjoy festivals, so we thought it was about time that we created a winter festival vibe in partnership with Wonky Dog Productions and the Frome Creative Collective.
“The DJs are local and have loads of experience entertaining people from all walks of life. This venture is a non-profit making event, so we really hope people will support this event in its first year.
“We will be entertaining the kids and singing round the fire. but please be aware that parents must take full responsibility for their children at all times.
“Doors open at 3.30pm and we are expecting a lot of people attending, so please get here early to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets cost £5 on the door for adults and £2 for children. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
