Frome Netball Club’s secretary Andrea McCall managed to secure the under 14s a chance to be the flag bearers at Team Bath’s latest home game against Hertfordshire Mavericks.
The girls, alongside junior coaching volunteers Mia and Izzy, were given the grand job off welcoming the players onto court.
The girls, alongside their coaches, families and senior members of the club were given reserved seating behind the Team Bath bench, allowing them to listen in on team talks. Unfortunately Team Bath didn’t end of the right end of the score, but the girls were thoroughly entertained by the game’s play.
Under 14s shooter Molly was given the opportunity to take part in half time shooting competition, which she scored 9 goals in 60 seconds alongside Prior Park School player, which meant it went to sudden death which unfortunately Prior Park won, though Molly did fantastically well under the pressure.
After the game, they were entitled to a photo shoot with the players where they were able to have a group photos, and then have individual selfies and autographs.
