Pianist Jacquelyn Bevan and her musician colleagues are performing a series of free lunchtime chamber concerts in the Bennett Centre, Vicarage Street, Frome, every Wednesday at 1pm throughout the summer.
The concerts feature; Neil Moore, who will perform 20th century clarinet works, including jazz-inspired pieces on 14th August; and bassoonist Martin Gatt who will give the last recital (4th September).
The atmosphere is informal, with cafe-style seating and refreshments on sale before the concert.
“After you’ve visited the Wednesday morning market, we hope you will join us for informal live music with friends, in the beautiful acoustic of the Bennett Centre,” says Jacquelyn Bevan.
Doors open at 12.45pm and each concert will last approximately 45 minutes. Entrance is free with a retiring collection. For further information visit www.musicianssouthwest.com
