Frome Active has launched its new website so it is now easier than ever to find out about all the activities for kids in Frome.
Find out about where to learn how to canoe, play football, join the scouts and brownies, which drama and music groups there are, and about the youth clubs and places to hang out – all by visiting www.frome active.org.uk.
The website is full of information about clubs, activities and events for children, young people and their families. The site is now much simpler to use and has a search button so that you can easily find specific groups and activities. It also has more space to promote local activities, run by local groups, many of which are featured on the website, so Frome Active wants people to keep sending in details of events and activities.
Frome Active is run by the charity Young People Frome, which not only runs the website, but links up with local groups to help put on exciting and dynamic activities and events. Young People Frome’s most recent event was the Sports Festival that attracted hundreds of young people and featured a wide range of sports including rock climbing, archery and horse-riding, all of which feature on the website.
The next big event will be the Children’s Festival on Sunday the 10th of July, from the Cheese & Grain to Welshmill. The festival is run in partnership with a local community interest company called Purple Elephant Productions, so keep an eye on the website for more details on this and more.
The website was designed by Ghost Ltd and funded by Frome Town Council.
