A FROME based architect has collected the Building Design Architect of the Year Award for education at the annual Architect of the Year Awards, in London on 17th October.
NVB Architects won the award for their work with school buildings, from nurseries to sixth forms.
“Each year the award celebrates the very best architecture across the UK and the Frome based practice beat off tough competition to win the prestigious accolade,” says NVB director, James.
“The category for Education Architect of the Year required a portfolio of school buildings and environments that are sustainable, well designed and inspiring.
“NVB Architects focus is on combining architecture and landscape to create holistically designed spaces for learning in the UK. We recently won a regional RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) for our work on Wootton Bassett Infants’ School.”
