The Frome Business Breakfast, which will be held at the Town Hall on 6th March, will focus on ‘managing stress’ by presenting systems for your organisation to put in place, as well as available resources to ensure staff can flexibly adapt to the demands and pressures of the workplace.
With looming deadlines, long hours and difficult negotiations, the stresses and strains of modern life can have serious effects on your work life and it’s easy to fall into habits that may make it worse.
“When people are under stress it can often result in issues with mental health that can greatly affect their work,” said town councillor Jean Boulton. “These days stress can be found in most offices and finding ways to effectively manage it can be a challenge. This month’s business breakfast will offer simple advice to enable you to intelligently look after yourself, your team and your business.”
Organised by Frome Town Council, Frome and District Chamber of Commerce, and business manager, Mairi Connelly, the Frome Business Breakfast events are open to all businesses and community enterprises and are a great opportunity to meet with other local organisations.
The event costs £10 per person with the breakfast included in the price. Dietary options are available upon request, prior to the event.
Pre-booking is essential, go to frometowncouncil .gov.uk/frome-business-breakfasts or call 01373 465757. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
