Frome’s first busking competition for under 25s will hit the streets on 10th March at 12pm, with performances from some seriously talented acts.
So far, these include Fresher & Angel, Garbage Queen, Henry Wacey and James Harriman, with more names to be released.
Frome Busks will open with the Frukes at 12pm, with the competition starting at 12.30pm at a variety of Frome’s iconic locations around the town centre. Each act will perform a 20-minute set before rotating to the next location, so music lovers will need to explore the town to see them all.
The acts can be found at the following locations during the competition: The Cheese & Grain, The Black Swan Arts, King Street, Cheap Street, The Boyle Cross, Stony Street, Catherine Street, and The Westway.
The competition will finish at 4pm with a performance from Noisy Oyster outside Ellenbray, so there’ll be plenty of time to listen to them all, while exploring the town’s spectacular shops and streets. The winner will be announced at 4.30pm at 23 Bath Street and will perform at the venue at a date tbc as a prize.
