The popular Frome Carnival Family Funday and Dog Show is back next month at Victoria Park.
The free event on Saturday 6th June will feature favourites including the dog show, Bonniest Baby competition, royalty selections, stalls from local groups and charities and refreshments.
Organisers, Frome Carnival, say, “We’ve got local stalls and plenty of refreshments. Bring the kids, bring the dog and let’s make it a day to remember.”
The event will run from 12pm to 5pm. The carnival team are asking people to donate cakes and bakes, as well as soft toys and teddies for the event. Send a message via the Frome Carnival Facebook page or email info@fromecarnival.org.uk if you can help, and cakes can be dropped off at Victoria Park at 11am on the day.
The carnival this year will be held on Saturday 26th September. The children’s procession will not take place this year, but organisers hope it will return in 2027 for the carnival’s centenary year.
