twentyfifty, a management consultancy founded in Frome and working with some of the world’s largest companies on human rights and ethical trading, has been named by Forbes as one of the ‘World’s Best Management Consulting Firms’.
Founded by Luke Wilde 18 years ago, twentyfifty now employs over 40 employees, has subsidiaries in Germany and Switzerland, and leads projects across the world. For example, recently the team has been working in Zimbabwe, India, Cameroon and Turkey.
“We are really excited to receive this recognition by Forbes. Being acknowledged internationally for the work we do helping businesses respect human rights is fantastic. Our hardworking team can take huge satisfaction from this. But I also know that we won’t rest on our laurels – and this will help further energise us in our work with businesses towards a more equitable and sustainable world,” said Luke Wilde, founder and managing partner, twentyfifty.
Madeleine Mauwer, who also lives in Frome and leads on culture and values within twentyfifty says, “There are quite a few of us living in Frome and we draw lots of inspiration from the town. We like to get involved in our community, for example we have been supporting Frome Welcomes Refugees in recent months. We also try to purchase from local businesses wherever we can.”
Luke says, “I expect we will keep a strong team in Frome, but a key focus for our growth is now into the emerging economies. We have grown quickly over the past two years as a result of building up our networks and capacity to deliver work in African and Asian countries. This also means we fly less and keep our emissions down.”
The Forbes award is not twentyfifty’s first. twentyfifty has been recognised by the Financial Times as one of the ‘UK’s leading management consultants’ for the last three years and is a certified B- Corporation.
