A Frome-based paint company has launched a new ground-breaking eco-friendly paint and, to celebrate, is offering a local community group a free makeover.
Paint Zero, which is based in The Welsh Mill Hub, produces a unique range of concentrated interior decorating paints that are eco-friendly and toxic-free.
“Customers simply mix one of the 75-colour Paint Zero packs with plain tap water to create full-strength interior paint in 90 seconds,” explained creative director Clare Cunningham. “This state-of-the-art product eliminates the toxic chemicals and fossil fuels ingredients found in liquid paint and avoids 90% of the greenhouse gas emissions from their production.”
Following this innovation, Paint Zero has been selected out of thousands of companies to join an exclusive Amazon programme helping propel the company’s growth into Europe and beyond.
To celebrate this, Paint Zero, which manufactures the paint in-house, will be running the Big Community Paint Off, a competition offering a local community group the chance to win the paint to redecorate their space.
Clare said, “Paint Zero will set up a fun demo day for community members, showing them just how easy using Paint Zero is and giving them that chance to explore Paint Zero’s full colour range and choose the perfect colours for their space.
“Children are invited to attend this event as Paint Zero is entirely toxin free and safe for even young children to use. Paint Zero will then donate all the paint needed to repaint the entire interior, helping the community transform their space together!”
Chief executive officer and founder of Paint Zero Ross Harling said, “Being part of the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator is a major milestone for us. This partnership not only strengthens our marketing and distribution capabilities across Europe but it also aligns perfectly with our mission to create a healthier, more sustainable future for the paint industry.
“We are really excited by this opportunity and want to share our success by offering something back to the local community.”
