Frome in Bloom has effectively been closed this year due to lockdown measures, but is looking forward to starting again in 2021.
The committee said, “As we could not run our usual very popular gardens competition there will be no presentation, which would have taken place in September.
“Committee members are working in the background to keep things ticking over and we will do all we can to re-start events in 2021. Entry forms will be available from the start of the year and all the well known categories should be included.
“We are keen for you all to think forward a few months and plan your next year’s gardens and planting. We will be back! We hope for great results in 2021.
“Rest in Peace; Brian Harris. He was, along with his wife Jean, an active and respected member of many years with Frome in Bloom .He won a large number of awards and trophies in both Frome in Bloom and Mendip in Bloom. We shall all miss him greatly.”
