FROME Town have agreed that First Team manager Derek Graham is to step aside from his role.
The popular long serving Robins stalwart guided the club last season to safety, after relegation looked a distinct possibility, but performances haven’t been as expected during this campaign and it was decided on Saturday 28th September that a change was needed. Chairman Jeremy Alderman said of the decision, “Everybody knows how much the club means to Derek, and vice versa, as he has done so much for Frome Town, and as difficult the discussions were, we hope to be able to sit down with him over the coming weeks to discuss a new role as we really want to keep him involved for years to come.”
While the search for a new manager begins long serving coach Lloyd Chamberlain has agreed to take on the reigns, and will remain in control until a new appointment is made. The club hope to make an appointment as quickly as possible.
