Rainfall for this April 2020 = 56.5mm, or in the old £ = 2.22 inches.
The first two weeks of April 2020 were dry, excluding 1.5 mm received on Monday 06/04/20 followed by 17/04 & 18/04 where 10 mm & 12 mm was received respectively. A further 17 mm was accumulated on 28/04.
The April rainfall Statistic for the 17 year Frome average = 56.6 mm. Hence this April equalled that Frome Average. The highest April rain fall accumulated in 2012 = 158 mm, with the lowest of 3.5 mm in April 2017.
So looking at the figures objectively, the traditional April Showers of April 2020 did materialise to a degree!!

Also for information, this April 2020 did match the highest April Temperature of 2018, [ie] 25 Degrees C. But as yet, nothing can match the U.K. April temperature of 29 Degrees C , recorded in 1949.!!
