A MEMBER of the Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers is taking part in an art exhibition at the Wells and Mendip Museum.
‘Somer Inspirations 19’ will display a collection of work by West Country artists, including Linda Brobson.
Linda says, “I design weave textiles from which I create wall hangings and textile items particularly delicate scarves. I use traditional handmade and age old techniques to produce cloth designs that are totally original.
“I am a member of the Guild of Weavers Spinners and dyers and a member of the Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers. Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers is a charity based in Frome that seeks to promote and instruct in the traditional methods that were once part of every life in Somerset.”
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 16th July until Saturday 27th July from 10am to 5pm every day except Sunday.
