FROME’S Carnival Royalty become a dynasty. Frome’s Carnival Royalty this year includes grandmother and granddaughter, Shelly Fyall and Ruby Westlake.
Shelly is Carnival Gran and her 8-year-old granddaughter, Ruby Westlake, is one of the attendants.
Carnival royalty certainly runs in the family as Shelly’s daughter, Emma, is also a former Frome (and Wessex) Carnival Queen and from 2006 for six consecutive years, her three daughters were chosen as carnival royalty.
