THE first in a series of fundraising concerts in aid of Wessex Counselling Service and St. John’s Church, Frome has raised £113.
Jade Bennett from Wessex Counselling Service said, “The concert was a great success and it was wonderful for Wessex Counselling to be working in conjunction with St John’s Church.
“The concert raised £113 for Wessex Counselling’s client bursary and is sufficient to offer a financial bursary to a client in need.”
The next concert will take place at St John’s Church, Frome, on Sunday 24th January, starting at 3.30pm and lasting around an hour. Refreshments will be available afterwards.
No tickets are required, but there will be a collection in aid of both Wessex Counselling Service and St. John’s Church.
Wessex Counselling is a local charity offering affordable, professional counselling and psychotherapy with some low cost places available for local people on very low incomes. For more details, please contact office@wessexcounselling.co.uk or call 01373 453355.
