GREAT British Bake Off finalist Brendan Lynch from Frome will be holding a bread making demonstration on Wednesday 13th September from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The event was previously planned for the Assembly Rooms but it will now take place at Holy Trinity Church’s Trinity Hall.
The event has been organised by the local charity Active and in Touch who help people who are isolated and lonely with befriending and social groups; Brendan is a regular visitor to Active and in Touch’s Tuesday social group.
The charity says, “Come and see the master bread maker at work demonstrating how to make a range of breads including Irish soda bread (yeast free), wholesome brown bread, tear and share pesto rolls and fruit scones. If you are already a bread maker, come along and get some tips on how to make your bread even better! There will be plenty to taste as well after each demonstration!”
Tickets cost £10 and will include tea and cake.
