Do you have a local tree that is full of juicy apples? Community group Sustainable Frome has an apple press that is available for hire for just £12 for a week, perfect for making juice or even cider.
Co-Director Sian Modine said, “In the UK a staggering 4.4 million apples are thrown away every year, that figure doesn’t even include the apples that grow wild on local trees. Pressing apples is a fun, family activity and the reward is delicious, nutritious juice.”
