FROME’S Cheese & Grain now boasts a brand new cafe bar after taking over and refurbishing it in August.
The popular venue in Market Yard has appointed Graeme Barry as the hospitality manager.
Spokesperson Tracey Rawlins said, “It’s exciting times at the Cheese & Grain! Graeme has extensive experience in managing a successful public house and has brought a wealth of great ideas to develop the business.
“The café and bar will be developed to run together with longer opening hours and an adapting menu to cater at different events as well as the daytime café.
“Pre-show meals and post-show bar promotions are scheduled for the future. The bar will be stocked with a wide choice of beers, wines, gins and other spirits plus guest ales and ciders. The new menu will be released later in the month and there will also be a takeaway element ideal for those working in town.
“The popular free Roots evenings will continue on Wednesdays and there will be Jazz nights and Dub Club each month as well as other special events.”
