WITH this year’s summer holiday becoming a distant memory, the launch of the new Lesmon Travel 2018 holiday brochure couldn’t have come at a better time.
Whether you are looking for a short break not too far from home, or a longer break in sunnier climes, then look no further than Lesmon Travel.
Company owner Mark Wye said, “With over 30 years’ experience of delivering great value, quality coach holidays with that personal touch, I am sure that the new brochure will have something to appeal to everyone.”
Lesmon Travel is a family-run coach holiday company based in Frome and has been offering UK and European coach holidays for over 30 years. The company is now run by Mark and Brigitte, who have taken over from Brigitte’s parents, following their well-earned retirement.
Mark said, “In 2018 we will be running a wide choice of tours to both UK and Continental European destinations including a fantastic tour to the Loire Valley in France, with wine and cheese tasting and visits to a couple of chateaux and gardens; a tour to Tuscany, one of the most beautiful parts of Italy; the Isle of Man and an eight-day tour to the stunning Scottish Highlands.
“Our English tours include four and five day tours covering from St Ives in the West to Cromer in the East, and from Warner Lakeside on Haying Island and the Isle of Wight in the South to Hadrian’s Wall and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in the North.
“If that doesn’t quite cover the whole country, we also have tours to Blackpool, Scarborough, Exmouth, Eastbourne and Torquay.
“There will also be tours to Tenby & the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Llandudno & the Little Trains of North Wales and Arras & Lille Christmas Markets, as well as our regular choice of Turkey & Tinsel tours and a special Mother’s Day weekend tour, which includes a complimentary Mother’s Day gift.
“We believe in making your holiday that extra bit special by providing a very personal level of service and, we like to think, a unique holiday experience, from our complimentary door-to-door pick up service, right through to our fully inclusive excursions on all tours.
“We have a relatively small catchment area, so our pick-ups for each tour generally take around an hour from start to finish, something many other companies simply cannot deliver.
“The coaches we use for our holidays are typically only a year or two old, and have all the features you would expect from such modern vehicles, such as climate control, a toilet and tea and coffee facilities. We don’t have any overnight travel on our tours, and make regular stops on the journeys, to make sure you get to enjoy your holiday in full, from the first day to the last”.
Mark had over 20 years’ experience of delivering first-rate customer service in his previous career as a store manager in the food retail industry.
“While the products are different, the importance of good customer services is just as vital now, if not even more so,” he added. “Peace of mind is also important to people booking their holiday and with this in mind, we are fully bonded with ABTOT.
“We still have limited availability on the tours for the rest of 2017, and the 2018 tours have started selling really well, so give us a call so you don’t miss out. To book a tour, for a copy of the full brochure or for more details on any of the tours please give us a call on 01373 472289 or visit our website at www. lesmontravel.co.uk.”
