THE community is being invited to have their say on a ‘emerging proposal’ to build up to 180 houses on land west of Marston Lane, before a planning application is made.
The plans by developers Gleeson Land, proposes up to 180 new homes, of differing sizes, of which 30% will be affordable housing; and both informal and formal open spaces including a new equipped play area, new tree planting, and provision of allotments for residents.
The deadline for comments is Friday 3rd December. After this, Gleeson Land will review the comments received and will consider their next steps ahead of a possible submission of a formal planning application to Mendip District Council.
