Local people are invited to visit the Frome Dorothy House Furniture shop to celebrate their fourth birthday on Saturday 29th February between 11am to 4pm.
The charity says, “Free refreshments will be available to visitors and there will be a range of special furniture offers if you’d like to browse the bargains of the day.
“There will also be an opportunity to hear about the care provided by Dorothy House, and how your generous donations over the last four years have helped the hospice to fund more care for local patients, families and carers.
“We’ll also be showcasing some great volunteering jobs at the store and Dorothy House volunteers will be on hand to serve you homemade cake and talk about their experiences as part of the store’s lively team. If you fancy a career change, a way back into retail work or just a break from your daily routine, volunteering can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. There are many diverse roles to choose from for all different ages, so come along and find out what might suit you.
