Once again the Frome Selwood Horticulture Society are potting up for the ever popular Annual Plant Sale that takes place on Saturday 23rd May at Selwood Academy, Berkley Road, Frome. Doors open at 9.30am.
This annual event has grown over the years and is now very much on the calendar for plant hunters with an eye for a bargain.
Bring your own carriers to be sure to have adequate space for the treats in store. Look out for vegetable plants, bedding, annuals, herbaceous and even succulent’s and pot plants.
With advice on hand from the members, come along to see what might look perfect in that empty corner, that created space from old tyres, the allotment, the raised bed or the window sill. Then enjoy rummaging in Bric-a-Brac and end the trip with a look at the produce stall!
Added to the experience will be Frome in Bloom with their colourful displays. Frome in Bloom has done much over the years to encourage individuals, organisations and businesses to plant for pleasure and display, and have annual awards with many categories to enter.
