Frome Community Hospital’s medical secretary, Roz Thomas, has retired after working for the hospital for nearly 29 years.
Roz first joined the team at Frome Victoria Hospital, moving to the newly built Frome Community Hospital in 2008.
The hospital report, “She has supported many departments including Ultrasound, Outpatients, OASIS, the ward and more recently at the Mass Vaccination Centre at the Bath and West Show Ground.
“Roz has always been one of the friendliest, most helpful people you could wish to deal with and she will be greatly missed for her empathy and sense of fun!
“We look forward to welcoming her back as a volunteer. In the mean time, she is spending quality time with her husband, and as soon as allowed, her children and grandchildren. Her colleagues gave her a Covid -19 free send off!”
