THE thinking and events which led to the launches of Frome Writers’ Collective and, last year, their ground-breaking Silver Crow book brand, will be described at an informal gathering at the Three Swans on Tuesday 11th July.
The event will open with a light-hearted presentation describing how Silver Crow evolved from chat between two collective members into a unique service offering a comprehensive package of advice, guidance and support to writers trying to get published.
Then, after a short break, authors Nikki Copleston, Brenda Bannister and Wendy Worley, who have all seen their books published thanks to Silver Crow, will be reading excerpts from those books.
There will also be an update on the progress being made by other books going through the Silver Crow process, a Q&A session and an opportunity for those attending to chat with members of the Silver Crow team.
The event, which is part of the well-established literary content of the Frome Festival programme, starts at 6.00pm and will last around an hour and a half.
Admission is £4, and tickets are available from the Festival Box Office, event number 1102.
