A Popular jungle, drum and bass duo will be coming to Frome next month.

4AM KRU will be making their Frome debut with a very special one off

intimate show at Cheese & Grain on Saturday 17th October.

“They have been making waves in the UK jungle scene, showcasing their immersive 1994 flavoured jungle through their raucous live shows,” said Lukas Mohn from the Cheese & Grain.

“Their rise to stardom has been meteoric – since emerging post lockdown, they have gone on to multiple main stage performances at Boomtown Fair, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Love Saves The Day and more, as well as taking the club scene by storm.”

Special guest support comes from Aries (Born On Road).

“If you know jungle/drum and bass, then you’ll be all too familiar with Aries and the roads he’s travelled,” added Lukas. “With a career spanning more than 30 years, Aries has cemented his place as a much-loved pillar of the scene.

“From being a globally renowned DJ who has performed in over 35 countries, to sitting proudly at the helm of one drum and bass’ most exciting new wave D&B labels in Born On Road, it’s fair to say Aries has earned his reputation as an artist at the forefront of the scene.”

The evening will also play host to rising local talent Anna Prank, TJB and Jaycee.

This show is promoted by South West promotion Gorilla Tactics who have previously

brought such big hitters as SHY FX, David Rodigan, Goldie, Mungo’s Hifi and more to Frome, as well as running Boomtown Fair stages Wrong Side of the Tracks and The Rose & Clown for the

last 12 years.
