Local man Sean Dromgoole has been selected as the Labour Parliamentary candidate for Somerton and Frome in the General Election, to be held on 8 June.
Born and educated in Somerset, Sean lives with his family near Langport, where he and his wife farm a small flock of sheep. He is a leading figure in the computer games industry, one of Britain’s high tech success stories. Sean is well travelled, working around the world as far afield as Europe, America, and Russia. He still finds time to play village cricket, and skittles for his local pub.
Sean seeks an end to austerity and a boost to the economy to fund the NHS, build more homes for the young people of Somerset, and maintain public services. He believes that only a Labour Government can be trusted to do this for the benefit of everyone.
