Local business, The Regency Chess Company, came to the rescue when student Katie Hann wanted to set up a chess club.
Proprietor, Julian Deverell, kindly donated five wooden chess sets to the college, for the students to use at lunchtime. The Regency Chess Company, which has established itself as one of the world finest chess purveyors, said they were delighted to help Katie set up the chess club, which now has regular staff and students members.
The college says, “We would like to take this opportunity to thank The Regency Chess Company for their generous donation and support.”
