Stars, sponsored by Dennis Maps, faced Holt on a perfect evening for netball.
With no captain, Sophie Tracey Carter filled the centre position and did not disappoint.
With Lucy Perry and Kathy Dredge again having another fine defensive display Frome led at quarter time by 13 goals to 2. Hannah Dredge was on fine shooting form backed up by Janie Bullus and with good feeding in to the circle by Kate Smith and Tracey, Stars forged ahead to lead by 26 goals to 5 at half time.
Holt made some changes at half time and this disrupted Stars temporarily but Stars still increased their lead to 35 goals to 10.
The last quarter saw Jo Knight gain some brilliant interceptions and along with Lucy turned defence into attack. Kathy took some great rebounds and Lucy and her are becoming a formidable partnership.
Stars limited Holt to 2 goals in the last quarter and finished the match worthy winners by 46 goals to 12.
Lucy picked up the Player of the Match award.
