Friends of the Mount, Marston and Keyford – The Community Association for South East Frome (know as the MCA), are based at the Key Centre, Feltham Lane.
The association has a new phone number and email address, these are: 01373 465172 and mcahealthyliving@gmail.com. These contact details can be used to enquire about booking meeting rooms and the community hall and for anyone wishing to find out more about the association, volunteer opportunities or activities that take place at the centre and the association’s community garden.
During the Easter school holiday, several events for children are being organised, including a Forest School, Lego Club and Easter Egg Hunt. These activities cost £2 each per child.
The office at the Key Centre is also staffed by the MCA’s administrative officer, Gemma, during term time between 9.00 and 11.00am.
The MCA took over the running of community activities at the centre in January, following county council redundancies last year. Somerset County Council children’s service (getset) also offer supporting services and groups for children and families from the Key Centre. They can be still be contacted on 01373 453371.
