Frome Town Council and Chamber of Commerce are backing a new series of business breakfasts aimed at bringing together the town’s vibrant business community.
The breakfast events will take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
Cllr Jean Boulton of Frome Town Council is keen to bring local business owners together on a regular basis. She said, ‘Frome and the surrounding area is packed with innovative and successful companies making an important contribution to the local community.
“We are keen to engage with them, provide an opportunity to hear from expert speakers and enable valuable networking. The Frome Business Breakfast events represent one strand of the council’s strategy to connect businesses with each other and the town.’
Frome Chamber of Commerce president Nigel Harris says, ‘The Chamber is happy to support these new Frome Business Breakfasts. Whilst most of the meetings will be held in The Archangel Hotel there are plans to hold every third event out in the business community, with breakfasts hosted by local companies.
“This is a new and exciting aspect to the breakfast meeting format, giving people a chance to see how other local companies work and hopefully increase cooperation between local business owners.”
The first date in the Business Breakfast calendar is Tuesday 6th October at the Archangel Hotel in Frome. The cost is £10 to attend and includes an excellent cooked buffet breakfast. This first event features Seamus Cleary who will present the results of the town council’s recent ‘Workspace Needs’ survey and invite feedback.
