The HUBnub Centre has announced its very first exhibition in the new first floor Art Space. The exhibition now running showcases the work of Pine Feroda and runs until 25th August.
Pine Feroda is the collective name of five individual printmakers (Merlyn Chesterman RE, Julia Manning RE, Rod Nelson, Ian Phillips and Judith Westcott) who make large scale, dramatic woodblock prints as a group. Each artwork is a collaboration by the five artists and is a unique way of working.
Despite having only started a few years ago, they show their work nationally. Their beautiful prints are currently being represented by The Royal Academy online sales & earlier this year they were also part of the Royal Academy ‘Surface Cutting’ show. In 2015 they exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Rebecca Hossack in London, The Brook Gallery and The Devon Guild of Craftsmen have presented solo exhibitions of the group’s work. They have also just had a residency and exhibition at Eton College. This incredible work is all now available to see right here in Frome.
To view the artwork in HUBnub’s Art Space, please visit every day from 9am to 5pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
