TOOL hire company, Hire Standards, will be celebrating the launch of their new Frome store with an open day next month.
This will be the second branch of the company who have been trading in Westbury for 11 years, offering quality tools, equipment and access products at a reasonable rate to trade and DIY customers.
The company will be launching its new branch on the Marston Trading Estate on Tuesday 1st May from 8am until 3pm. “I’m feeling very nervous and very excited about the expansion to Frome,” said managing director Matthew Rowe.
“This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and I’m optimistic that this will be a great success. It’s already given the business a lift and brought in fresh and exciting ideas.
“Frome is where I cut my teeth in the industry with a local independent company there before it was taken over by a national. So it’s a great feeling to return to the area, we’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to expand and open a new store. It’s all happened so quickly, we didn’t know it was happening eight weeks ago, it was still just an idea then.
“Customers in Frome can expect the same great professional, friendly, expert advice as we offer in our Westbury store.
“It’s a very exciting time for Hire Standards. “We have created three roles for the new branch in Frome and taken on two new members of staff in Westbury.
“We’ve also recently bought £500,000 worth of new equipment from JCB to update the fleet. So we have over 30 new items for customers to hire, including new dumpers and rollers.
“For the open day we have representatives from JCB and Makita coming to celebrate with us. There will be food and hot drinks on offer and a raffle with the grand prize of a gas barbecue up for grabs. To be in with a chance to win, customers need to spend £10 in the store.”
